"It's our future, let's build it together"

Oakland Comprehensive Plan

In the fall of 2017, the Town of Oakland embarked upon the process of updating its comprehensive plan. A “CompPlan” is intended to guide the growth of a community, but it is more than just a document – it encompasses a community’s shared vision for its future. We invite Oakland residents, business owners, and property owners to join us in envisioning Oakland’s tomorrow.

What is a Comprehensive Plan?

•A comprehensive, long-range plan intended to guide the growth and development of a community.

•Includes: economic development, housing, recreation and open space, transportation, land use, and community facilities, and the community’s goals and objectives of these elements.
