New England Music Camp is located on a pristine 40-acre lakeside campus in Sidney, Maine. New England Music Camp was founded by Dr. Paul E. Wiggin and his wife Nina in 1937 as a non-profit educational institution dedicated to the cultivation and refinement of musical skills in young people. Open positions include:

Job Description for Cook:
Responsible for providing meals for campers and staff during the summer camp program, preparing meals for special diets, cleaning/organizing kitchen and appliances. In addition, cooks are responsible for general cleaning and maintaining meal records. A primary function of this and every other job at New England Music Camp is to ensure that each member, guest, and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
A camp cook must be able to prepare menus that fit a variety of meal plans, including those with gluten, nut, or other food allergies. Vegetarian food preparation is also an important skill set. A camp cook must be able to prepare various meals for the program to fit the nutritional needs of all campers.
Candidates must be able to: lift and carry upwards of 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, manage to work in a warm environment, take direction, follow through on assigned tasks, work with some chemicals, and be comfortable in a very busy and active environment.
Hourly pay ranges from $12-$15 based on experience.
These are seasonal, temporary positions and provide 30-40 hours per week of work.
