Central Maine Growth Council is proud to announce the launch of its Facade & Building Improvement Program for downtown Waterville.
The program will allow commercial property owners to renovate, restore, repair, and redevelop building exteriors, beatifying downtown Waterville and highlighting its impressive historic assets. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to:
- Lighting, signage, and awnings
- Restoration of doors, windows, storefront or façade rehabilitation
- Painting
- Accessibility improvements
The downtown district is defined as along Front Street, Main Street, Temple Street, Appleton Street, the Concourse, and the Northern terminus of Water Street.
