Waterville, ME – September 11, 2025 – The City of Waterville is proud to announce its upcoming Housing Summit, a free community event dedicated to addressing housing opportunities and challenges in the region. The summit will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Greene Block + Studios, 18 Main Street, Waterville. The event will bring together residents, developers, city officials, and housing professionals for a full day of discussions, resources, and networking.

“The Housing Summit is an important opportunity to bring all voices to the table as we work toward housing solutions for Waterville and beyond,” said Mayor Michael Morris. “By engaging developers, policymakers, and residents, we can collectively shape the future of our community.”

“Housing is one of the top priorities for the Waterville City Council, and we have seen a number of great housing projects completed, with more in the works,” said City Council Chair Rebecca Green. “This Summit will gather together stakeholders—developers, city staff, and housing experts—to focus on housing solutions and opportunities that lean into the strong cross-sector partnerships in Waterville and Maine.”
