Lunders to help fund art collaborative buildings in Waterville

The philanthropists are donating $3 million to the effort to renovate the buildings at 14 and 20 Main Street where offices of the Lunder Institute will share space with artist studios, and exhibit and performance areas.

The buildings are across from The Lockwood Hotel in Waterville. Peter and Paula Lunder, formerly of Waterville, have donated $3 million to the Colby College project.
