By Henry Gilbert, Founder of Back40
A competitor on Season 5 of Greenlight Maine, Henry Gilbert of Back40 built an online platform to help Mainers and tourists easily access our state’s great outdoors. The Portland, ME-based startup features an online, on-demand outdoor gear rental service that enables customers to reserve pre-assembled camping kits and a la carte rentals for local pickup and campsite delivery.
In his Tech Talk, Henry will share his story of founding Back40: how he conceived and built the rental platform and logistics chain, his plans for future growth, and how his product uses technology to boost outdoor recreation in Maine.
